Dr. Egon Spengler is the tall, bespectacled genius behind the Ghostbusters' science. Deadpan and intensely logical, he explains the supernatural in dry technical terms and invents the team's gear. This 1986 version is the original look from the first wave, showing the character in the team's classic uniform.
